Sylodyn® HRB HS 6000
Sylodyn HRB HS 6000 is a high-resilient bearing material from Getzner Werkstoffe, built for vibration isolation under extreme compressive loads in confined spaces. Formed from closed-cell polyurethane elastomer, it accommodates static loads up to 6.0 N/mm2, making it suitable for the most demanding structural and industrial isolation projects.

Applications
Sylodyn HRB HS 6000 is used in applications where structural loads exceed the capacity of standard Sylodyn grades. Typical uses include crane installations and runway pads, heavily loaded steel structures, high-load machinery bases, and building base isolation systems where loads reach the 6.0 N/mm2 range. Custom punched parts and non-standard dimensions are available on request.
Standards and compliance
Flammability classified to class E per EN ISO 11925-2 and EN 13501-1. Compression set tested per EN ISO 1856. Shear moduli measured per DIN ISO 1827. Load deflection curves recorded per ISO 844. Further material properties are determinable via the Getzner FreqCalc online calculation program.
Frequently asked questions
How does HRB HS 6000 compare to HRB HS 3000?
HRB HS 6000 handles twice the static load of HRB HS 3000 (6.0 N/mm2 versus 3.0 N/mm2) and has higher shear moduli, making it the appropriate choice when structural loads are in the upper range of the HRB HS series.
What thicknesses are stocked?
Standard stock thicknesses are 12.5 mm and 25 mm, supplied as mats 1.2 m wide by 1.5 m long. Other thicknesses and custom-punched parts are available on request.
What is the operating temperature range?
The material is rated for continuous use between -30 degrees C and 70 degrees C, with short-term exposure to higher temperatures possible.
