CBI 15 & 24 mm Two Way Exposed Grid is a heavy-duty ceiling system featuring a 38mm web height for both Main & Cross Tees. Designed for strength and durability, it meets seismic requirements and provides a high-quality ceiling grid solution.
Key Features:
- Manufactured in Italy from hot-dipped galvanized steel.
- Double web, balanced tee design for enhanced stability.
- Main Tees: 3700mm lengths with 100mm punched centers (first punch at 50mm).
- Cross Tees: Available in 1200mm and 600mm lengths.
- Seismically tested and compliant with current NZ Standards (ULS Design).
- Static capacity: 18kg/m² for a 1200x600mm grid.
- 30-year system warranty.
- Available in black and white finishes.
Main Tee:
The Main Tee is constructed from hot-dipped galvanized steel with a pre-painted steel cap. It features 100mm center punches and suspension points in both the bulb and web for ease of installation.
Cross Tees:
The Cross Tees come in 1200mm and 600mm lengths, maintaining the same configuration as the Main Tee. The lay-on edge detail ensures a neat installation and resistance to twisting. High-tensile clips provide a secure locking system for quick assembly.
Hold Down Clips:
Hold down clips are available as needed. For suspended ceilings experiencing pressure differences between the plenum and occupied space, consider:
- Clipped tiles to prevent uplift.
- Eggcrate tiles to allow pressure equalization.
- Or both, depending on project needs.
Seismic & Custom Designs:
Seismic designs are available upon request. Site-specific ceilings are designed to meet both ultimate and serviceability limit states in accordance with New Zealand standards.

What is your return policy?
All refunds and returns are determined by the manufacturer's terms of sale. Change-of-mind refunds are not accepted, but all valid warranty claims will be managed by AKA Acoustics in compliance with consumer law.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Freight lead times will be provided upon order confirmation. Standard items typically ship within 4–6 weeks, while custom orders may take 6–12 weeks.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes, all payments are securely processed through Stripe and are protected under their Terms of Service. AKA Acoustics do not store any payment information ourselves.
