Coastal Grass is a P3TEC advanced wall protection covering from Baresque, designed to bring a woven grass-cloth aesthetic to high-traffic, high-abuse interior environments including healthcare, food service and transportation. It mounts as a vinyl-faced wallcovering that resists impact, chemicals, abrasion and staining while remaining bleach cleanable.

Applications
Interior walls in healthcare facilities, aged-care, food service environments, transport facilities, hospitality and commercial interiors where walls are subject to impact from carts, wheelchairs and trolleys. Suited to corridors, waiting areas and dining spaces requiring a soft, textile appearance alongside heavy-duty wall protection. May also be specified as Type II wallcovering (20 oz) for adjacent surfaces requiring less protection.

Indoor air quality: meets California Section 01350. Fungal resistance: ASTM G-21. Bacterial resistance: ASTM G-22. Sustainability: NSF/ANSI 342 third-party certified. Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and Health Product Declaration (HPD): both third-party certified.
Frequently asked questions
Can Coastal Grass withstand spray paint or permanent marker?
Yes. The cap film is chemical resistant; tested staining agents including spray paint and permanent markers were wiped clean with listed cleaners with no change to the surface.
Is Coastal Grass suitable for healthcare environments?
Yes. It is bacterial resistant (ASTM G-22), fungal resistant (ASTM G-21), bleach cleanable and meets California Section 01350 indoor air quality requirements.
What is the BCA fire classification?
Group 2 under AS/NZS 3837, with Specific Extinction less than 250 m2/kg.
