Vertiface is a fabric wallcovering from Autex, made in Australia from 100% PET with a minimum of 91% recycled content. It features a soft velour finish on one side and a flat pile on the other, making it suitable as a standalone wallcovering, an acoustic panel overlay, or a furnishing fabric across a wide range of commercial applications.

Applications
Vertiface is used as a direct wallcovering in offices, education, healthcare, and hospitality interiors. Its porous structure makes it suitable as a fabric overlay on acoustic panels, allowing sound to pass through to the absorptive substrate. It also serves as a furnishing fabric for seating and partitions where a consistent textile finish across multiple surfaces is required.
Standards and compliance
Tested to AS5637.1 and AS ISO 9705-2003. Achieves Group 1 fire classification with SMOGRArc less than 100 m2/s2. Holds an Environmental Product Declaration and Global Green Tag Level A certification. Carbon neutral certified; Autex holds ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification.

Can Vertiface be used to cover existing acoustic panels?
Yes. Its porous construction allows sound to pass through to the absorptive panel beneath, preserving acoustic performance while presenting a uniform fabric finish.
What is the difference between the two sides of Vertiface?
One side has a soft velour texture suited to direct wall applications. The reverse has a flat pile finish. Autex installation instructions specify the appropriate face for each application.
Is Vertiface fire rated for commercial use in Australia?
Yes. It achieves Group 1 classification under AS5637.1 and AS ISO 9705-2003, accepted under the Building Code of Australia for interior wall linings.
