Zintra Baffle Systems Bolt is a ceiling-mounted acoustic baffle from Zintra featuring a dynamic blade profile with a lightning-bolt silhouette. Made from 12mm solution-dyed polyester, the system ships flat-packed and assembles without tools for installation in large, open commercial and institutional spaces where exposed ceilings are preferred.

Applications
Suited to large, noisy interior spaces including educational institutions, shopping centres, restaurants, and airport concourses. The vertical blade orientation exposes ceiling services while increasing the absorptive surface area presented to the room. Available in 11 blade designs across the Zintra Baffle Systems range. Hardware for suspension is included with each kit.

What hardware is included with the Bolt kit?
Each kit includes 10 Zintra blades and, depending on size: 4 or 6 Adjustable Suspension Kits (ASK), 4 or 6 adjustable fasteners, 4 or 6 hanger bolts, 2 or 3 aluminium tubes with notches, 4 or 6 aluminium end caps, and 2 or 3 x 24mm Zintra connectors.
How does a higher air gap affect NRC?
Testing with a 610mm (24 in) air gap between the baffle and the ceiling increases the rated NRC from up to 0.95 to up to 1.00. A larger air gap allows low-frequency sound energy to interact with the absorptive surfaces more effectively.
