AKUSTIK LATERAL + SYLOMER is an acoustic suspension hanger from AMC Mecanocaucho designed for applications requiring lateral fixing. It uses Sylomer microcellular polyurethane in two grades to isolate structure-borne vibration and noise from suspended ceilings, vibrating pipelines, and overhead machinery.

How does this hanger differ from a standard vertical acoustic hanger?
The AKUSTIK LATERAL + SYLOMER is designed for lateral fixing, allowing it to be attached to walls or surfaces where a vertical rod connection is not available. It provides the same Sylomer-based vibration isolation in a different fixing geometry.
Why are two Sylomer mixes offered?
AMC Mecanocaucho manufactures the Sylomer element in two grades to match the stiffness characteristics to the applied load per mounting point. Using the correct mix for the actual load keeps the mount operating at its optimal isolation performance.
What tensile load can the metal parts handle?
The metal components are rated to withstand tensile stresses from 650 kg up to 1,000 kg depending on the variant selected, providing a substantial safety margin over the rated working loads.
