EP 700 + SYLOMER®
EP 700 + Sylomer is an acoustic wall tie from AMC Mecanocaucho designed for the floating suspension of soundproofed walls. The Sylomer viscoelastic pad decouples the wall from the structure, blocking vibration transmission and improving acoustic separation. Suitable for walls, vertical pipes, and lightweight ducts.

Applications
Floating suspension of soundproofed stud walls and partition systems. Isolation of vertical pipes and lightweight ducts. Particularly suited to installations where fire or impact resistance is required, and to timber ceiling and wall framing where direct-fix installation is preferred.

What does the Sylomer grade number indicate?
The grade corresponds to the maximum load in kilograms per fixing: Sylomer 15 supports 15 kg, 30 supports 30 kg, 50 supports 50 kg, and 75 supports 75 kg.
Is the EP 700 suitable for pipe and duct isolation?
Yes. In addition to floating wall systems, it isolates vertical pipes and lightweight ducts from the building structure.
Does installation require threaded rods?
No. Two predrilled bent pins provide direct fixing to the substrate, with no threaded rods needed.
