How does the X8 differ from the X8I?
The X8 uses speakON connectors and has 100-degree axisymmetric directivity at IP43. The X8I uses terminal block connectors, has 90-degree axisymmetric directivity, and carries an IP55 rating - making the X8I better suited to installation applications where tighter pattern control and higher ingress protection are needed.
What amplified controllers are compatible with the X8?
The X8 is compatible with the LA2Xi, LA4X, LA8, and LA12X L-Acoustics amplified controllers.
Can the X8 be used as a stage monitor?
Yes. The enclosure includes a 35-degree monitor angle, allowing it to be positioned on a stage floor for use as a fold-back monitor.
