S5H
The ADAM Audio S5H is a three-way active studio reference monitor configured for horizontal placement in large control rooms. It uses dual 10-inch HexaCone bass drivers, a 4-inch carbon Dome/Cone Hybrid midrange with MPS waveguide, and an S-ART folded-ribbon tweeter with HPS waveguide, covering 22 Hz to 50 kHz with a total amplifier output of 1,100 W.

Applications
The S5H is intended for large professional control rooms where multiple engineers need to work within the monitoring sweet spot simultaneously. The horizontal cabinet orientation keeps the high- and midrange drivers at listening height, and the dual 10-inch woofers provide the low-frequency output required for film, television, and music production at high playback levels.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the S5H oriented horizontally?
The horizontal cabinet positions the tweeter and midrange driver at seated ear height across a wide console, allowing more than one person to work within the loudspeakers' optimum listening position at the same time.
What waveguides does the S5H use?
The S5H uses the HPS (High-frequency Propagation System) waveguide on the S-ART tweeter and the MPS (Mid-range Propagation System) waveguide on the DCH midrange driver. Both waveguides are milled from solid aluminium.
What is the S5H's total amplifier power?
The S5H delivers 1,100 W RMS total: 700 W Class D for the twin bass drivers, 300 W Class D for the midrange, and 100 W Class D for the S-ART tweeter.
