4V-SH
The 4V-SH is a large-capacity anti-seismic spring mount from AMC Mecanocaucho, combining a high-elasticity coil spring with a built-in Sylomer pad to isolate low-frequency vibration from heavy mechanical plant. Seven load-rated variants cover loads from 268 to 1,784 kg per mount, achieving natural frequencies between 2 and 5 Hz.

Applications
Suited to isolation of large chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, compressors, and heavy rotating plant. The incorporated levelling system allows precise height adjustment after installation, and the non-slip rubber base prevents lateral movement on plant-room floors. The Sylomer pad provides second-stage attenuation of mid and high-frequency structure-borne noise.
Frequently asked questions
How does the 4V-SH differ from the 3V-SR?
The 4V-SH handles lighter loads (268 to 1,784 kg) and achieves a lower natural frequency floor (2 Hz) compared to the 3V-SR (1,950 to 3,600 kg at 3 to 5 Hz).
What does the Sylomer pad do?
The Sylomer pad under the base attenuates mid and high-frequency vibration that passes through the steel coil spring, providing a dual-stage isolation response.
Can the temperature rating be exceeded?
The mount is rated for continuous operation from -30 to 70 degrees Celsius. Short-term higher temperatures are permissible; sustained operation above 70 degrees Celsius is not recommended.
