5V-SR
The 5V-SR is a large-format spring mount from AMC Mecanocaucho that combines a high-elasticity steel spring with a Sylomer pad to deliver broadband vibration isolation from low through to mid and high frequencies, in a single mount assembly for heavy mechanical plant.

Applications
The 5V-SR is used under heavy rotating and reciprocating plant including large air-handling units, industrial compressors, and generating sets. The combined spring and Sylomer system provides isolation of low-frequency mechanical imbalance while preventing mid and high frequency noise from flanking into the building frame.

What is the purpose of the Sylomer pad supplied with the 5V-SR?
The Sylomer pad sits under the mount base and attenuates mid and high frequency vibrations that travel through the steel spring coils, which would otherwise bypass the spring's low-frequency isolation.
How is load balanced across multiple 5V-SR mounts?
The incorporated levelling system allows each mount to be independently adjusted after installation to distribute load evenly across all supporting mounts.
