6 AMC
The 6 AMC is a heavy-duty spring mount from AMC Mecanocaucho engineered to isolate low-frequency vibration generated by rotating and reciprocating machinery. Available with an optional Sylomer pad, it prevents mechanical vibration from transmitting into the supporting structure and adjacent building elements.

Applications
The 6 AMC is used under large rotating and reciprocating plant such as industrial compressors, centrifugal fans, and pumps. It reduces vibration-induced wear on the machine and prevents structure-borne noise from travelling to adjacent building elements. The Sylomer pad variant extends attenuation into the mid and high frequency range for acoustically sensitive installations.

What is the difference between the standard 6 AMC and the 6 AMC with Sylomer pad?
The standard 6 AMC uses the steel spring alone to isolate low-frequency vibration. The Sylomer pad variant adds a microcellular polyurethane layer under the base to also attenuate mid and high frequency vibrations transmitted through the spring coils.
How are the six colour-coded spring variants selected?
Each colour represents a different load rating, from 900 kg (blue) to 4,500 kg (green). Select the variant by calculating the load per mount and choosing the spring rated for that load.
