AKUSTIK 4 + SYLOMER is an acoustic ceiling hanger from AMC Mecanocaucho for the vibration-isolated suspension of false ceilings, pipelines, and mechanical plant. Sylomer microcellular polyurethane isolator elements are matched to four discrete load ratings, and the metal structure carries an anticorrosive treatment suited to demanding installation environments.

How is the correct AKUSTIK 4 load variant selected?
Four load variants are available: 15 kg, 30 kg, 50 kg, and 75 kg per hanger point. The Sylomer isolator density is factory-set for each rating. The variant is selected by calculating the suspended weight distributed across the hanger count and matching to the nearest rated capacity.
What is the difference between Type A and Type B mounting?
Type A secures the metal armour to the ceiling using a screw, while Type B uses a welded nut fixing. Both configurations are available with M6 or M8 threaded connections across all four load ratings.
How does Sylomer perform compared to rubber isolation mounts?
Sylomer microcellular polyurethane achieves higher isolation values than rubber or cork at equivalent load. The material is manufactured in precisely specified densities so that isolation performance remains consistent within the stated load range for each variant.
