Bobbin – Trapezoid
Bobbin Trapezoid is a rubber-metal anti-vibration mounting from AMC Mecanocaucho. It provides elastic anchorage and vibration isolation using a trapezoidal rubber block bonded between two parallel metal end plates, offering particularly high transverse elasticity and accommodating relative movement of several millimetres in all directions.

Applications
Suitable for elastic suspension and vibration isolation of small motor-pumps, motor-ventilators, dryers, sieves, compactors, washing machines, electrical motors, on-board control panels, measuring instruments, control cabinets, microphones, and fluorescent tube fixtures. The trapezoidal profile delivers greater elasticity in shear (perpendicular to the axis), making it well suited to equipment subject to movement from thermal expansion or chassis deformation.

The trapezoidal profile provides greater elasticity in the transverse (shear) direction compared to standard cylindrical bobbins, allowing larger relative movements between the connected parts while still controlling vibration transmission.

The trapezoidal bobbin uses male threaded mounts on both ends, enabling bolted fastening from each side of the assembly.
