Box Baffles Uniformed Low
Box Baffles Uniformed Low is a ceiling-mounted acoustic baffle system from Zintra, configured with all boxes set to a consistent low profile. Prefabricated from recycled PET polyester, these suspended baffles replace mineral fibre lay systems and deliver reliable NRC performance in large commercial and institutional spaces with lower ceiling clearances.

Applications
Suited to large ceiling planes in educational institutions, shopping centres, restaurants, airports, and open-plan offices. The low-profile box arrangement provides a refined, ordered ceiling treatment with good acoustic absorption, and is a practical choice where headroom or ceiling clearance constraints make a taller baffle profile less appropriate.
Standards and compliance
ASTM-E84 Class A. AS ISO 9705:2003 Group 1. EN 13501 B-s2-d0.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Uniformed Low and Uniformed High?
Both variants maintain a consistent box height across the full installation. Uniformed Low uses a shallower profile, presenting a more restrained visual appearance. Both share the same plan dimensions, panel composition, NRC ratings, and fire ratings.
Do I need to provide additional fixing hardware?
No. Each unit ships with 6 x Adjustable Suspension Kits and 2 x aluminium tubes with notches, which are all the components needed to hang the assembled baffle from a suitable structural ceiling.
Can the baffles be used without an air gap?
Yes. Direct suspension with no air gap achieves an NRC of up to 0.90. Increasing the air gap to 610mm raises this to up to 0.95 where ceiling structure permits.
