C-COAT 100TS – Tough Surface Gray Topcoat
C-COAT 100TS Tough Surface Grey Topcoat is a water-based protective and thermal insulating topcoat from C-Coat, designed to be used over other C-Coat thermal insulating coatings or plasters. It provides a tough, UV-resistant grey finish while also contributing to heat-blocking performance across a wide range of surfaces.

Applications
C-COAT 100TS is applied as a finishing coat over C-Coat thermal insulating coatings and plasters on any substrate type. It improves surface hardness, weather resistance, and solar reflectivity on roofs, facades, industrial equipment, containers, and transport vehicles. It is also used as a standalone thermal barrier where a tough, durable grey surface finish is required.
Standards and compliance
Tested to ASTM C518-10 (thermal conductivity), ASTM D3960 (VOC), ASTM E1980:11 (solar reflectance), ISO 868:2003 (Shore hardness), and ASTM B117-02 (corrosion resistance).
Frequently asked questions
Must 100TS be used over a C-Coat base coat?
No. The 100TS can be applied over other C-Coat thermal insulating coatings and plasters as a topcoat, but it is also formulated to function as a standalone thermal insulating barrier over various surface types.
How does the 100TS compare to the insulating plasters in terms of hardness?
The 100TS has a Shore A hardness of 70 and elongation above 80%, making it notably harder and more flexible than the 100F and 100M plasters (Shore A 55 to 64), which suits its role as a protective finishing coat.
What is the maximum application temperature for the 100TS?
The product can be applied at ambient temperatures up to +40 degrees C, lower than the 100F and 100M plasters (+60 degrees C). Operating temperatures reach up to +100 degrees C continuously and +120 degrees C for brief periods of up to 1 hour.
