CB
CB is a rubber-metal anti-vibration mount from AMC Mecanocaucho designed for paired installation using a single through-bolt. Nine sizes cover load capacities from 8 kg to 2,000 kg per mount, with a design that is radially 30% softer than axially to prioritise isolation of radial vibration in mobile and industrial equipment.
Specifications
- Load capacity range: 8 kg to 2,000 kg per mount (depending on size and hardness)
- Available sizes: CB 40, CB 60, CB 65, CB 76, CB 80, CB 110, CB 125, CB 130, CB 150
- Hardness options: 45, 55, 65, 70, and 75 Shore A (varies by size)
- Axial to radial stiffness ratio: Radially 30% softer than axially
- Vertical snub limit: 6 mm
- Horizontal snub limit: 3 mm

Applications
Agricultural and construction equipment cabins, engines, radiators, transmissions, and battery boxes. Marine equipment installations. Mobile generators and compressors. Chassis frames for military vehicles, buses, trucks, motorhomes, and emergency vehicles. Also used for electrical cabinet isolation and speaker mounting applications.
Frequently asked questions
Why are CB mounts installed in pairs?
CB mounts are designed for paired installation because both mounts are fixed using a single through-bolt at each end of the mounted component. This simplifies installation and provides balanced load distribution across the mount pair.
What is the radial wear plate and why does it matter?
The built-in radial wear plate prevents the elastomeric element from contacting sharp edges of laser-cut holes in support frames. This eliminates the need to machine or chamfer mounting holes, reducing fabrication cost while protecting the rubber element from damage.
How does the snubbing system work?
The multi-axial snubber limits mount displacement to 6 mm vertically and 3 mm horizontally, allowing high dynamic loads while controlling movement range to protect connected equipment and structure.
