Etch Tiles Battleaxe is an acoustic wall tile set from Zintra, featuring a bold angular pattern machined with a 3mm V-groove into 12mm solution-dyed polyester fibre tiles. Sold in sets of 13, the tiles suit commercial, education, and hospitality interiors where acoustic absorption and a strong geometric feature wall are both required.

Applications
Suitable for wall installations in offices, restaurants, hotels, schools, and retail spaces. Tiles can be arranged wall-to-wall for full coverage or grouped as a feature artwork panel. Each set covers 2.3 m2, allowing installations to be scaled by purchasing multiple sets. Not suitable as a freestanding product.

ASTM E84 Class A fire classification. AS ISO 9705-2003 Group 1 fire classification. EN 13501 B-s2-d0 fire classification. Material is 100% recyclable.

Can the Battleaxe tile be combined with plain Zintra tiles?
Yes. The Etch Tiles range integrates with plain Zintra panels, allowing etch and plain tiles to be mixed within the same installation for a varied surface.
What acoustic performance does the Battleaxe tile achieve?
Directly mounted, the tile achieves an NRC of 0.45 to 0.75 and an alpha-w rating of 0.30 to 0.60. These figures apply to the 12mm and 24mm thickness options when fixed flat to the wall surface.
