Firenze-KH8 is a self-powered touring line array element from K-Array, featuring Slim Array Technology and Electronic Beam Steering. Eight onboard DSPs, a stainless steel enclosure with IP45 cabinet and IP65 electronics bay, and a precabling system allowing three-unit stacks deliver up to 145 dB peak SPL across a 120-degree horizontal dispersion with digitally controlled vertical coverage.

K-Array states that the precabling system supports three-unit stack preparation, enabling a straight 24-unit cluster to be rigged in under 10 minutes, compared with conventional systems that require individual wiring and mechanical connection per cabinet.
What is the difference in IP rating between the speaker box and the electronics?
The speaker box itself is rated IP45, protecting against water jets. The electronics are housed in a separate integrated enclosure rated IP65, providing complete dust protection and resistance to heavy rain.
Is the Firenze-KH8 still available?
The Firenze-KH8 has been discontinued by K-Array. Technical documents and datasheets remain available from K-Array to support existing installations.
