Firenze-KS7
Firenze-KS7 is a self-powered active subwoofer from K-Array, housing two 21-inch neodymium magnet woofers with 5.31-inch voice coils in a wooden enclosure. It delivers up to 145 dB peak SPL with bass extension down to 25 Hz, and supports cardioid, gradient, and end-fire array configurations via its onboard DSP and up to 2 seconds of input delay.

Applications
Suited to large-scale live sound, touring, and outdoor events requiring deep, high-output low-frequency reinforcement. The 2-second DSP delay and symmetric port design support gradient and cardioid sub configurations to control rear energy, as well as end-fire arrangements for directional bass projection. Can be used as a single point source or in arch array configurations. Pairs with the Firenze-KH7 line array element.
Standards and compliance
IP53 rated for protection against dust ingress and water spray from any direction.
Frequently asked questions
What array configurations does the Firenze-KS7 support?
The built-in DSP provides up to 2 seconds of input delay and precise frequency shaping, enabling gradient, cardioid, and end-fire sub arrangements, as well as single point-source and arch array use.
What amplifier is integrated into the Firenze-KS7?
A two-channel switch-mode Class D amplifier delivering 2 x 3500 W at 2 ohm is built into the enclosure. Mains connection uses a powerCON True connector with a link inlet for daisy-chaining.
How does the port design benefit performance?
The fully symmetrical ports maintain consistent back loading on both drivers, minimising air turbulence and distortion at high output levels.
