Applications
Mechanical installation of acoustic foam lining panels in soundproof cabins, machinery enclosures, and vehicles. Spikes are spaced every 40-50 cm across the substrate. Suitable where adhesive-only fixing is insufficient, and where panels may need to be removed for maintenance. A marine protective cap is available for corrosive or wet environments.

How is the Fixing Nail installed?
Fix the spike to the substrate using polyurethane sealant, rivets, or welding and allow the adhesive to cure for approximately 12 hours. Space one nail every 40-50 cm, press the acoustic panel onto the spikes evenly, insert the washer, trim any excess spike length, and fit the rubber plug.
Which acoustic panels are compatible with the Fixing Nail?
The Fixing Nail is designed for use with Akustikabsorber soundproofing materials, including the FD, FDM, FI, and FIM acoustic lining composites from AMC Mecanocaucho.
Is a marine-rated version available?
A marine protective cap (code 26409) is available as an accessory for use in corrosive or wet environments.
