How is GABERDINE cleaned?
Use a cloth dampened with clear warm water first, then if needed a mild detergent solution, then isopropyl alcohol in order of preference. Remove any detergent residue with a clean damp cloth and pat dry. Do not use solvent-based cleaners, concentrated abrasives, lacquer thinners, nail polish remover, or bleach-based products, as these may cause discolouration. Always test in an inconspicuous area first.
What width does GABERDINE come in?
GABERDINE is 122 cm wide and is available by the lineal metre from rolls of approximately 50 m. Note that this is narrower than many other Baresque vinyl fabrics, which are 137 cm wide.
Is GABERDINE suitable for high-traffic seating?
GABERDINE carries a Spread of Flame Index of 0 and Smoke Developed Index of 5 to AS 1530.3, and its vinyl construction with moisture barrier suits practical commercial use, though no Wyzenbeek abrasion rating has been published for this fabric.
