Lara is a heavy-duty commercial vinyl upholstery fabric from CF Stinson, distributed in Australia by Baresque. Available in 58 plain colours with a non-phthalate vinyl surface on a polyester backing, it combines an advanced stain-resistant topcoat with fluid-barrier performance for healthcare and contract interiors.

GREENGUARD Gold Certified, satisfying LEED credits for low-emitting furniture, California CDPH Standard Method v1.2 (2017), and BIFMA X7.1 and BIFMA e3 credits 7.6.1, 7.6.2, 7.6.3. REACH and RoHS Compliant. Formulated without phthalates, PFAS, fluorocarbons, added flame retardants, or added anti-microbials. Fire treatment to AS1530.3 available on request.

Is Lara suitable for healthcare or aged care facilities?
Yes. Lara provides a fluid barrier, exceeds 1,300,000 double rubs, and is GREENGUARD Gold certified. It is bleach-cleanable and formulated without phthalates and PFAS.
Can Lara meet Australian fire standard AS1530.3?
A fire-retardant treatment is available on request through Baresque. Contact Baresque for details before specifying for AS1530.3-dependent projects.
How is Lara cleaned?
Use warm water, then mild detergent solution, or isopropyl alcohol. For difficult stains, apply 10% bleach and 90% water solution, rinse thoroughly. Avoid solvent-based or abrasive cleaners.
