Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the KZ14 I and the KZ14R I?
The KZ14R I is the recessed variant, with a slightly larger enclosure (28 x 106 x 11 mm versus 22 x 100 x 11 mm) to accommodate a metallic spring clip that locks the speaker flush into a cut-out in plasterboard or similar surfaces. Audio specifications are identical between the two models.
Does the KZ14R I need to be painted or finished on site?
The unit is available in black, white, and custom RAL colours, as well as special finishes including 24K Gold, Antique Gold, Rose Gold, and Polished. A removable magnetic grille covers the front face.
Can the KZ14R I be used in damp or humid environments?
The IP64 rating means the enclosure is dust-tight and protected against water splashing from any direction, making it suitable for humid or semi-exposed environments such as bathrooms or covered outdoor areas.
