How does the SFT differ from the SFC?
The SFT is designed to provide lateral stability in addition to vertical suspension, making it suitable for installations where the duct is subject to side forces from vessel motion. The SFC is optimised for pure suspension loads.
What is the failsafe feature?
A built-in mechanical failsafe retains the duct in position if the rubber element degrades or fails, preventing the duct from dropping or displacing, which is a safety requirement in many marine applications.
Why are four hardness options offered?
Different hardness ratings change the mount's stiffness and natural frequency, allowing the isolation system to be tuned to the specific load and excitation frequency of each exhaust installation.
