Frequently asked questions
What is the fire rating for the Metallic film?
Metallic is classified Group 1 under AS ISO 9705:2003, which is the fire group classification used by the Building Code of Australia for interior wall and ceiling linings.
Does Metallic require professional installation?
Yes. Reatec films are specialised products recommended for installation by a trained applicator. The substrate should be prepared as smooth as possible before application, as the thin film can follow surface unevenness.
Can the Metallic film be repaired on-site?
Yes. Reatec films can be installed, patched, or layered on-site, which minimises downtime during commercial fit-outs or maintenance.
