Frequently asked questions
What makes Nature different from conventional faux leather?
The face is derived from plant-based bio-ethylene rather than fossil-fuel-based PVC or PU, and the substrate is natural cotton. The composition is vegan friendly, PFAS free, and Red List compliant.
Does Nature have a fire rating?
The base fabric does not carry an inherent AS1530.3 rating. A fire retardant treatment is available that brings it into compliance with AS1530.3; contact Baresque for details.
Can Nature be cleaned with alcohol or disinfectants?
Yes. Isopropyl alcohol is an approved cleaning agent. The Acryltron coating provides enhanced resistance to cleaning chemicals. Do not use solvent-based cleaners, lacquer thinners, nail polish remover, or bleach.
