Nest Xorel is a crocheted architectural textile from Carnegie Fabrics, distributed in Australia by Baresque. Made from biobased Xorel yarn derived from rapidly renewable sugarcane, it serves as an acoustically transparent, highly durable sheer for wrapped acoustic panels, wallcoverings, upholstery, and space dividers in commercial interiors.

Yes. The unbacked version is acoustically transparent, highly tackable, and self-healing; yarns can move back into position after pinning. It is also highly stable on panels and does not react to humidity changes.
Can Nest Xorel be cleaned with bleach or hospital disinfectants?
Yes. Xorel yarns are non-absorbent and the fabric tolerates diluted bleach solution (up to 40%) and hospital-grade disinfectant cleaners. Always follow the disinfectant manufacturer's contact time instructions.
What backing options are available?
Nest Xorel is available unbacked (for panel wrapping), with X-Protect Wall backing (for wallcoverings), with X-Protect Sit backing (for upholstery), and with an acrylic backing (for adhesive-applied panel wrapping).
