Omicron is a heavy-duty advanced wall protection covering from Versa, distributed through Baresque. It features an extra-thick vinyl face on a drill fabric backing, rated at 859 g/m2, and installs using the same reverse-hang method as standard wallcovering. Designed to withstand impact, scratches, and heavy-duty cleaning, it carries a 5-year warranty and is available in 9 colours.

Omicron is suited to high-wear commercial wall areas including corridors, stairwells, lift lobbies, hospital wards, aged care facilities, schools, and retail environments. Its impact resistance and scratch-and-wear layer protect walls in zones subject to trolleys, equipment, and heavy foot traffic. Bleach cleanability supports infection control requirements.
Standards and compliance
Tested in accordance with AS ISO 9705 2003 for Group Number classification under the Building Code of Australia. Classification: Group 2. Specific Extinction: less than 250 m2/kg.

Does Omicron require professional installation?
Baresque strongly recommends using one of their approved installers. Omicron requires a specific installation method including reverse hang, alternate drops, overlap, and double cut, and professional installation is advised to achieve the correct result.
Is Omicron sold by the lineal metre?
No. Omicron is sold by the half roll (9.1 m) or full roll (18.2 m) only, at a roll width of 132 cm. It is not available by the lineal metre.
Can Omicron be cleaned with bleach?
Yes. Omicron is bleach cleanable, supporting routine disinfection and infection control in healthcare and institutional environments. Use a lint-free cloth and avoid abrasive cleaning pads.
