The Zintra Pattern Panel Elephanta is an acoustic wall and ceiling panel from Zintra, featuring a tessellation cut-out design. It absorbs sound energy to reduce reverberation in commercial interiors and can be installed as a standalone decorative panel or layered over a solid Zintra backer for a two-tone, three-dimensional finish with higher acoustic output.

What is the difference between the Pattern Only and Pattern on Backer configurations?
The Pattern Only panel is 12mm thick (density 2.4 kg/m2) and uses air gap to boost NRC toward 0.95. The Pattern on Backer adds a 12mm solid Zintra backing, bringing total thickness to 24mm (density 3.6 kg/m2) and raising directly mounted NRC from 0.45 to 0.75, with ceiling-mounted performance reaching NRC 1.00.
Does the Elephanta pattern work on ceilings as well as walls?
Yes. The panel can be installed on walls or ceilings. Ceiling installation with an air gap delivers the highest NRC values: 0.95 to 1.00 depending on configuration.
How is the recycled content in Zintra panels verified?
Zintra panels are made from 100% recyclable materials: 60% post-consumer recycled content from PET bottles, 35% pre-consumer recycled PET chips, and 5% polylactic acid. These figures are stated in the manufacturer's product documentation.
