PD Beige
PD Beige is an acoustic insulation panel from AMC Mecanocaucho, constructed from a perforated beige PVC facing bonded to an absorbing polyurethane foam core. It is designed for lining the interiors of soundproof cabins and vehicle enclosures, providing good acoustic absorption while offering a clean, light-coloured finish.

Applications

Frequently asked questions
Why is the facing perforated?
The perforations in the PVC facing allow sound waves to reach the polyurethane foam core, where energy is absorbed. Without perforation, the solid PVC would reflect sound rather than allow absorption by the foam layer.
Is PD Beige available with a self-adhesive backing?
Yes. Self-adhesive versions are available for all three thicknesses, designated with an A suffix, allowing direct bonding to cabin walls and enclosure panels without separate adhesive.
What other colour variants are available?
AMC Mecanocaucho produces the same construction in cream (PD Cream) and black (PD Black) colourways for installations where a different finish is preferred.
