Phantom Theater 5 is a five-channel home cinema loudspeaker system from Devialet, comprising five Phantom II Custom active loudspeakers paired with an Audio over IP AV processor supporting Dante or AES67. The system delivers immersive multichannel audio, including Dolby surround formats, with zero latency via a fully wired Ethernet architecture that requires no dedicated subwoofer.

Does the Phantom Theater 5 require a separate subwoofer?
No. The system is designed to reproduce full-range bass across its five active loudspeakers without a dedicated subwoofer, using the sub-channel communication capabilities built into the Phantom II Custom units.
Can Phantom I speakers be used in place of Phantom II units?
Yes. The system supports mixing Phantom I 103dB Custom and Phantom I 108dB Custom speakers with Phantom II Custom units to tailor the setup to room size and performance requirements.
How are channels assigned to individual speakers?
Channel assignment is configured through a web interface accessed over Ethernet, allowing integrators to map each physical speaker to its corresponding channel in the AV processor.
