Quadratic Sticks
Zintra Quadratic Sticks are an acoustic ceiling and wall system from Zintra that uses a quadratic residue sequence to reduce echoes and reverberation. Variable stick depths scatter and absorb sound more evenly across a room, improving speech clarity in offices, studios, and open-plan spaces. Each repeating pattern comprises 8 sticks and is available in narrow width only.

Applications
Suitable for ceiling and wall installations in open-plan offices, meeting rooms, music studios, and hospitality venues. The 8-stick repeating pattern works in landscape or portrait orientation and can be combined with powdercoat finishes in 12 colours.

How does the quadratic residue sequence reduce echoes?
The four stick depths are calculated using a mathematical sequence so each depth scatters sound at a different frequency. The combined effect absorbs and diffuses energy across a broader range than uniform-depth panels, reducing flutter echo and reverberation.
What is included in the flat pack?
16 narrow sticks (2 of each depth), a notched aluminium tube for assembly, and fixings. The 25 mm sticks ship pre-glued; all other depths ship flat for on-site assembly.
