What is the difference between the standard R2.0 and the R2.0 HD Pink Batts?
The standard R2.0 is 90 mm thick and suits wall cavities of that depth. The R2.0 HD achieves the same R2.0 rating at 70 mm thickness, making it the correct choice for 70 or 75 mm wall cavities. The HD variant also has higher density, which provides additional acoustic performance.
What stud spacings do the two widths suit?
The 430 mm batt suits standard 450 mm stud centres, and the 580 mm batt suits 600 mm stud centres. Both widths are stiffened to hold their position without additional fixing.
