The Rumble-KU212 pairs with K-Array mid-high speakers in hospitality venues, bars, lounges, home cinemas, small clubs, and outdoor terraces where extended low-frequency output is needed in a compact, low-profile form. At 16 ohms, up to four units can share a single 4-ohm amplifier channel. Dedicated presets for Kommander amplifiers provide optimised system balance. A marine-treated version is available for saltwater environments. Available models: KU212 (black), KU212W (white), KU212X (custom colour/finish), and marine variants KU212M, KU212MW, KU212MX.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the Rumble-KU210 and the Rumble-KU212?
The KU212 uses 12-inch drivers instead of 10-inch drivers, extends low-frequency response to 35 Hz versus 40 Hz, delivers 130 dB peak SPL versus 127 dB, and handles 700 W versus 320 W. It is physically larger and heavier, suiting medium to large-format venues.
Does the sealed enclosure affect outdoor suitability?
Yes, positively. The fully sealed stainless steel cabinet prevents dust, sand, and water from reaching internal components. The standard IP64 rating is suitable for most outdoor installations; the optional K-KUIP12 accessory provides additional water protection.
Can the KU212 be used with non-K-Array amplifiers?
The KU212 can be driven by any compatible amplifier, but K-Array Kommander amplifiers with loaded presets provide the optimised crossover settings and EQ required for correct system alignment with K-Array mid-high speakers.
