S2V
The S2V is a 2-way active near-field studio monitor from ADAM Audio, positioned at the entry point of the S Series. It pairs a 7-inch HexaCone woofer driven by a 300 W Class D amplifier with a handmade S-ART tweeter on a 50 W Class A/B amplifier, delivering at least 120 dB peak SPL per pair at 1 metre with frequency response reaching 35 Hz. DSP provides parametric EQ, room compensation, and preset memories.

Frequently asked questions
What is the S-ART tweeter?
The S-ART (Supreme Accelerating Ribbon Technology) tweeter is ADAM Audio's higher-grade folded-ribbon driver, handmade at the Berlin factory. On the S2V it has a 4 in2 diaphragm area and works with the HPS waveguide for precise imaging.
Does the S2V accept digital inputs?
Yes. The S2V has an AES3 digital input in addition to the balanced XLR analogue input, allowing direct connection to digital sources at up to +24 dBu.
What DSP control is available on the S2V?
The S2V provides 6 parametric EQ bands, a high-shelf and a low-shelf room compensation filter, adjustable input sensitivity, 0 to 5 ms delay, and 5 storable preset memories. DSP can be controlled via a software interface connected through the USB port.
