SONEX Barrier Septum (BS)
SONEX Barrier Septum (BS) is a composite acoustic curtain from Pinta Acoustics that combines sound absorption and noise blocking in a single product. It consists of quilted WILLTEC melamine foam bonded on both sides of a loaded vinyl noise barrier, supplied in rolls and suitable for use as flexible acoustic enclosures or dividing curtains in industrial and manufacturing environments.

Applications
Used as acoustic dividers between two noise sources or to separate noisy areas from quieter spaces. Suitable for enclosing compressors, punch presses, vibratory bowls, granulators, and other industrial machinery. Can be custom manufactured as complete acoustical enclosure systems and is also suitable for some outdoor applications. Curtain hardware options include grommets, hook-and-loop fasteners, clear vinyl windows, doors, and sliding tracks.

Flame spread and smoke density: Class A per ASTM E84, with a flame spread index of 21 and smoke density of 171. Sound absorption tested to ASTM C423-90; sound transmission tested to ASTM E90-75 and ASTM E413-73.
