SONEX GEOMETRIC Clouds
SONEX GEOMETRIC Clouds are suspended acoustic ceiling clouds from Pinta Acoustics, made from open-cell WILLTEC melamine foam. Available in square, circular and hexagonal shapes, they deliver broadband sound absorption across a wide frequency range and suit spaces where both acoustic performance and visual design matter.

Standards and compliance
Flame spread and smoke density: Class A per ASTM E 84 (all finishes); passes CAN ULCS-102. Microbial growth: passes UL 181 section 11. Fungus resistance: Rating 0 per ASTM G21. Toxicity: meets California Proposition 65 requirements; passes University of Pittsburgh Toxicity of Smoke Emission test.
Frequently asked questions
Are the clouds suitable for indoor swimming pools?
Yes. The WILLTEC foam resists mould, fungus and bacteria, and can withstand the high heat and humidity found in indoor pool environments. Stainless steel corkscrew hangers are available specifically for pool installations.
Can the clouds be made in custom sizes or colours?
Yes. Custom sizes and thicknesses are available on request. Water-based acoustic coating is offered in standard, premium and custom colour options, with edges and exposed-face coating applied as standard.
How are the clouds installed?
Each cloud is suspended individually using corkscrew hangers inserted into the foam. Four hangers positioned 8 to 10 in (203 to 254 mm) from the edge of the cloud are recommended for a secure hang.
