SPS
SPS is a rubber metal anti-vibration mount from AMC Mecanocaucho, designed to isolate compression and tensile loads in mobile and stationary equipment. Its captive rubber construction provides total safety in applications where high-frequency vibrations must be attenuated, including refrigeration units, compressors, transformers, and HVAC systems on trains and passenger transport.

Applications
Suited to mobile applications requiring captive, safe mounting: refrigeration units, compressors, transformers, HVAC units on trains and passenger transport. The stainless steel variant with appropriate rubber compound is used in food processing environments. The design is most effective where high-frequency vibrations predominate.
Frequently asked questions
Can the SPS be used where there is risk of complete unloading?
Yes. The captive rubber unit means the assembly cannot separate under tensile load, making it suitable for mobile equipment subject to road vibration, shock, and lift-off conditions.
Which rubber hardness should I select?
Three hardness grades are available: 45, 60, and 75 Shore A. Selection depends on the applied load and desired natural frequency of the isolation system. AMC Mecanocaucho provides load-deflection data for each grade to guide selection.
Is a stainless steel version available for food industry use?
Yes. The metal parts can be manufactured in stainless steel and paired with a food-compatible rubber compound for use in food processing applications.
