WILLDUCT Panels
WILLDUCT Panels are a fibre-free HVAC duct lining product from Pinta Acoustics, made from lightweight WILLTEC open-cell melamine foam. They provide both sound absorption and thermal insulation inside metal ductwork, reducing background noise from fans and blowers while preventing condensation on duct surfaces.

Applications
WILLDUCT Panels are installed inside metal HVAC ducts in commercial and institutional buildings, including classrooms, libraries, offices, training rooms, boardrooms, hotels, entertainment facilities, and residential construction. They are particularly effective at duct ends and bends where HVAC noise is most severe. Panels attach using mechanical pins and/or Pinta acouSTIC adhesive and can be cut to size on site with a utility knife without tearing.
Standards and compliance
Class A flame spread and smoke density per ASTM E84; CAN ULC S-102; passes UL 181 Section 11 for microbial growth resistance; fungus resistance rating 0 per ASTM G21.
Frequently asked questions
Do WILLDUCT Panels require personal protective equipment during installation?
No. Because the panels are made from fibre-free melamine foam, no masks or gloves are required when handling or cutting them on site.
How do WILLDUCT Panels reduce condensation on ductwork?
The melamine foam provides thermal insulation between the cold air inside the duct and the outer metal surface, keeping the exterior surface warm enough to prevent moisture in room air from condensing on it.
What is the noise reduction coefficient of WILLDUCT Panels?
In their natural light grey finish, WILLDUCT Panels achieve an NRC of 0.65. When fitted with a water-based acoustic coating, the NRC rises to 0.80, both measured at Mounting A per ASTM C423.
